Sgt. Bilski on serving his country & local community

Memorial Day Weekend is a time for us to remember our fallen U.S. soldiers and to honor the brave men and women who daily serve our country on the front-lines, including those within our local communities.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Sgt. Mike Bilski who is an active military member of the NY State Guard and US Volunteers.  He is an E4 Specialist (Communications) and E5 Sargent (Military Honor Guard). In addition to serving within both of these esteemed military organizations, Sgt. Bilski is also a chaplain and holds a variety of roles within the East Coast Car Association  (ECCA) and likes to keep himself busy by engaging with the local Queens community through his passion for service and classic cars.

We are excited to announce that on June 30th, Forest Park Carousel will be hosting an ECCA fundraiser for St. Mary's Children's Hospital, featuring an awesome display of classic cars around the Carousel, fun rides and games, and more! Continue to follow our blog or connect with us on social media @fpcarousel for further event details.

As a special thank you to our Hometown Heroes and all that you've done and continue to do for us, our community, and our country, we're offering 10 tickets for $25 (20% discount!) at Forest Park Carousel, Fantasy Forest, and Pier 62 Carousel.  To Redeem: show us your ID (Military, Veteran's Assoc., NYPD, FDNY, EMS) at the ticket booth. Offer is valid for the entire 2017 season!
